Software / Re: Android 5.0

Hi Wortel,

The current COOD-E TV is working as it should, for our firmware there is no need to upgrade to Android 5.0.
As we do not support "android" and the use of Android apps as some users do.

The box is made as it comes from the factory, no other way.
Ofc, we do not mind people installing skins and getting into the Android menu, deleting KODI and installing KODI from the playstore, thats your own choice, and we will not try to prevent users from doing that.

But for the player, as its bought in stores, there is no use to upgrade to Android 5.0.

NEVER THE LESS, we are working on firmware, but there is mutch to be done, we some good idea's to have all users to be more satisfied with the product.

Atm, we have included additional engineers into our software team and working on the firmware, soon we will provide a bit more information, and MAYBE android 5.0 is included, plus some additional options :O

Hi COOD-E Users,

There are some issues with the opensubtitle addon, after they updated their service and addon, it will not always auto update, so manual installation could be needed.

Please do as follow to get it back to work.

Completely uninstall OpenSubtitle Addon:

Download new version:

Install as zip (Setting -> Addons -> Install by ZIP)

Should work again after.

Software / Re: How can I update to 16.0 on my Cood E TV?
« on: May 20, 2016, 08:15:17 AM »

No plans to go to 16.0, KODI changes version so fast, its alot of work to do the adjustments.
There is alot of changing and testing each version to have it woring stable on the player.

Also, addons still work on this kodi version, there is not really a "need" to update.. still works perfect.
It can use all functions and addons :)

The progress bar leaves me hanging at the "downloading..." stage with 1%.

Wait some time, could be "slow" download, even if you have fast internet.
if not, please perform a recovery again, and try again.

Please let us know.

Software / Re: Extra "menu" Anime movies
« on: May 20, 2016, 08:11:04 AM »

Because of the low requests for Anime in the menu (its more work to add it and really makes it work and see when something is anime) we aren't able to add it to the menu for now.

But its always an option to use a alternative skin, that has this option build in :D
thats the beauty of Kodi

Hardware / Re: Keyboard with integrated Airmouse

Hi Tuk,

Stand-by mode, well, it goes in some kind of sleep mode that saves battery life.
So, after being in sleep mode, press any button once, it will go out of sleep mode and should work within 1/2 seconds.

It just doesn't work anymore! I'm not even able to get the remote to turn on, or do anything at all, not even removing the battery works. Wanted to send it back for repair, but i need the receipt. Sadly, the place where we bought the remote in pre-sale ( doesn't respond to any e-mail/message i send them.

25,- euros down the drain.  >:(

Hi Tuk,

I contacted DIVXPLAYER to see what happend, as they are our partner for offers like this.
They can't find any email from you with issue with COOD-E Key.

Don't worry about the invoice, we are able to see if you bought it from the pre-sale.
Please email: for repair/replacement.

EDIT: I found the email, and our support replied (Within 3 working hours), but no answer back from you :)
I have send you another email, please reply to get the RMA up and going.
