follow this procedure:

It will restore back to the first image on the device, in my case it was 1.1.2 I think, than you can update to 1.2.0 and than to 1.2.1

I downgraded back to 1.2.1 few days ago. Looks like the random reboots are gone.

Software / SPMC on cood-e
« on: December 29, 2015, 12:07:39 AM »

I wanted to share my experience of running SPMC on cood-e.
After running SPMC on cood-e for about a month I decided to go back to the stock kodi that was supplied on the player. The initial reason to try SPMC was claims made here on the forum that the cood-e software doesn't utilize the entire power of the hardware and only uses 2 out of 4 cpu threads. So I decided to check it out for myself.
I must say that my first impression of SPMC was good but I didn't see any performance change, SPMC wasn't as good integrated with the hardware as the cood-e version. Using the home button was useless but I could live with that.
What I did notice is that SPMC suffered much more from lag and decoding problems on some of my videos, a problem I didn't have with the stock kodi, this is actually the main reason for switching back.
On the other hand I didn't use the stock version so intensive as I used SPMC, I wonder if I'll face same decoding problems now that I switched back.
