Remote control broke down
« on: February 09, 2016, 05:26:52 PM »
My remote control doesn't work anymore. The blue light keeps flickering. I would like to connect my iPhone as remote controller for the Cood-E. Thus I don't know how, while I can't do anything with my remote control now, so is there an app which automatically connects to Cood-E? So I can overrule the regular remote?

Did you maybe drop your remote ?
Because I think the IR led in the front of your remote isn't making contact with the print..
Open the remote (you have to figure out how yourself I don't know ha-ha)
And if its open check if one of the 2 conectors from the led have come of ...
If so you have to solder them so the connect again with the print.
If the arent loose it could be that the IR led itself is broken  (that happens to mine)
You can fix that problem the same way... By using a ir led from a old remote you don't use anymore and solder that one to the print..

Greets coert
Believe in yourself because if you don't no one does..!!

Hi Mauricio79,

Please hold the IR (on top, or front how you want to see it ;) ) in front of a camera, do you see a pink/purple led blinking there? in this way its able to test if the signal still works.

In the meanwhile, please send me your address details so we can send a replacement remote through one of our distributors or directly from us.

Gr, Jeremy
