[SOLVED] No video at all
« on: December 01, 2015, 04:17:51 PM »
I can't get any videos to play on my new COOD-E TV: they all play at <1 FPS and no sound. I tried with different video types (M4V, FLV, MP4, MKV).
I installed the latest updates and my setup is like this: Synology DS214+ NAS --wired LAN (NFS)--> COOD-E TV --HDMI--> Onkyo TX-NR1008 A/V Receiver --HDMI--> Samsung HD TV
I tried disabling DTS & AC3 passthrough but that doesn't seem to make a difference.
When monitoring my NAS I see a short spike in network traffic which then drops to almost nothing.

What do you think is wrong?

Did you try connecting the Cood-E TV directly to your Samsung HD TV? Does the same happen?

Dera Nick,

Algo try to disable the acceleration on the video settings (a bit more advanced).
You can google it to learn how to do it.

Cheers.

I didn't have the time yet to hang it directly to the TV but I tried disabling hardware acceleration and that didn't make any difference.

Finally tried it directly connected to the TV and wireless too but it doesn't matter. No improvement whatsoever. 😢

I did a factory reset and everything seems to work as it should.  :Di
