I was running Jarvis when RC3 came out ..
Most of the time the Release candidates are as good as stable ...
But  whats your experience with kodi 16.0 ?
I think it's running just as good as 15.2 but I can't say i see any big difference compared to Isengard ?
Do you ..?

For me, It's the best release ever since. No lagging, no freezes, works very well with my Syno NAS over SMB, addons up and running, including Simple IPTV PVR,...all is good. I don't know in terms of benchware but everything is running pretty smooth around here. Also, I have a Google Nexus Player with 16.0 and it's running flawless.
I will never go back to Cood-E bugware!

Only the cood-e firmware version of 15.2 was lagging, buggy and did the reboots..
The original kodi 15.2 realese was running perfect can't see any difference comparing to 16.0 ..
But OK simple IPTV bug is fixed that's great news (thank god for developers that DO know what the are doing) ha-ha...
And about the Cood-e bugware customCRAP version of Kodi I couldn't agree more...
Cood-e Firmware install on the box is like setting Internet explorer as you're standard browser on windows Vista..
Ha-ha I can guarantee you... That's something you really don't wanne have installed on any laptop or PC...  ;D

I really tried to stay nice but even when I post a question in the nicest way possible the refuse to give a reply..
So no more mr nice guy, as of now I will post and say whats on my mind..
And if they start answering again to me and when they are ready to give the needed support here on the forum then I will consider to temper my tone..
And until then I'll try to help ervery one here in the forum the best way I can..

Im with you coert.

Companies forget they need their costumers. Especially the small ones need to stay on top of it even more.

They told me they wont stop developement in my threat. But its already slowing down.

The just replied to me in FB saying the are still active here on the forum.. And doing their best answering all questions on the forum...  :-\ haven't seen or heard from a single one of them for over almost a month..but OK...

This was my awnser I've posted back on their FB

Dear,
I myself am having no problems about me Cood email box. You say it can be so that has not yet responded to all posts, unfortunately I have (and other users) conclude that (certainly in the past month / month and a half) is just the opposite, and that actually should read " it may be that we only a single message responded "Some posts with questions are all considerable time online and to date unanswered. We also conclude that to be sorted out most of the problems are usually solved by various members of the Forum even though the have given a response from cood email that is being investigated. But still it can not be so that the solution (if it already is) to let an eternity itself from Coode wait and if it comes then 9 out of 10 times has long been solved by a solution or workaround offered by members ... Too bad because it's a pretty box with ech have potential. So super good as the marketing part of the Coode has done is so bad with the support and development part of the box set ... unfortunately but really the hard truth .. And that is really as important as the to bring the man of this rather handsome boxie .. Hope this really should see improvement in the near future for sure that you can get so much more from this project in the long term .. Regards coert

It isn't slowing down ;) we are still working on the firmware, small fixes, optimizing.
But if KODI keeps pushing new versions, we have to start from scratch all the time.
(And yes, we working on something to speed up the process, but this also will need some time)

So its just alot of time consuming.

And last month, we been focussing on the COOD-E KEY, that has been released few weeks ago.

Build from scratch ??
Why everything is working just fine on original Kodi 16.0 release..?
Why should you change something that's already great?
It's even fully supporting amlogic chipset boxes.?
Why is Cood-e making it so hard and difficult for themselves if it really doesn't have to be difficult..

Hi Coert,

yes from scratch, (scratch means, the basic kodi) needs to be optimized for Amlogic (with help of Amlogic ofc) and then put our Skin + Functions in it.

Its not as easy as you think, we do not want default KODI on it.
And if people want, there are ways, as you already shown in many msg's ;)

Gr, Jeremy

Ok. Kodi all ready is optimized for amlogic  ???
Also Amlogic is one of the few chipsets fully supported bij kodi?!?

But ok if you you have to build it from scratch for particularly reasons who am I to disagree.. After all you work at Cood-e I don't so have to take your word for it  ;D
