Review rating is dropping! :( People are giving 2-star reviews mainly because of the DTS/DOLBY issues...

When they don't have the licenses, they can't offer decoding. It's that simple. There used to be player apps for ipad that could do DTS/DD, but it was removed because it was  unlicensed.

Meanwhile, I still want to know what's the deal with (lack of) DTS-HD/Dolby TrueHD pass through.

DTS-HD/Dolby TrueHD works on passhtrough here, testing with a old(er) Yamaha amp.
Please let me know what kind of AMP you use so i can check into it

Gr, Jeremy

I'm using a Pioneer VSX-922-K. It supports the HD formats. When playing a DTS HD soundtrack I only get DTS pass-through. Same with Dolby TrueHD.

Also there's no option to "Enable Dolby Digital transcoding" that you mention in http://forum.cood-e.com/index.php?topic=37.0 with the latest firmware.

Hi, I downloaded your add-on, but didn't manage to get it to work.

I have a folder named script.module.dolby. Following the settings thru add-ons and add by zip, I browse to the mentioned folder. However, can't find a way to install this add-on.

Any suggestions??

Never mind, problem's "fixed"...

Mac OS downloaded your file unzipped. That's why I got a folder instead of a zip file. Installing the zip file is indeed peace of cake :-)

Thanks! Sound problem (by lack of DTS hardware) is fixed with this app! :-)

Also working fine for me.. ;-) why license ? If it works it works that's good enough for me.
And licenses cost money so then I think the box will also be more expensive...

Had to make a restore to factory default and didn`t have to use the addon for passthrough, just enabled it and works fine now.

I can't enable passthrough for the Dolby Digital Plus (E-AC3). Anybody else with the same problem?

Dolby Digital and DTS work fine.
