Software / No progress over the last couple off months.?
« on: October 19, 2016, 11:15:32 AM »
Hey all,

It's been over 6 months since the last time I visit the cood-e forum,

The lack off support from Cood-e team,
Cood-e team responses towards the box users (like we are 5 year olds that never used a Android device)
The unkept promise made by cood-e...

It seems I was right, it's been 6 months since I last been here and nothing has changed.

No new update, (no Kodi 17 for cood-e box because we are on KitKat, Blame it in the chipset maker? Bullshit !!)
No bugfixes,
No promised functions, (reboot option enz. Isn't really that hard to imply)
Etc. Etc.

Cood-e Team, I think it's time for you to do as promised and give the support to all the paying customers !
Update the box to at least lollipop so we can benefit from Kodi 17 and all of the improvements Kodi made for Android boxes... (And that are a lot of improvement's!!)

Give us what we've paid for and do as promised..!

Software / Kodi 16.0 (Jarvis) STABLE

Hardware / Cood-e mediastreamer ???
« on: February 21, 2016, 10:50:19 PM »
Almost every question is awnserd by Cood-e team with the excuse

"Cood-e is a media streamer and there for it doesn't support this or that....etc etc"

But on your own site and in youre market section on the official site you promote the box as.

"The ultimate home entertainment TV box"

So if it is a home entertainment TV box rather then a "media streamer" I would love Cood-e team to explain to all of us why it isn't supporting quite a few important functions and licenses.
After all you describe the coode TV box as

"The perfect little package with modified KODI(XBMC) software to have the best experience multimedia can give"

But without support and / or licences for DTS, Dolby, CEC/ark , stereo upmix etc etc..
It is in my opinion far from "the PERFECT TV BOX" ??? because a perfect TV box isn't perfect when it doesn't support things like this...

Hope Cood-e is going to rrespont because the think of me like I am a pain in there ass and therefore I haven't got a single response from them for the last 2 months on any of my question...

Addons / Misspelled word's in Cood-e repository
« on: January 21, 2016, 12:14:53 AM »
:P in the Cood-e repository you have misspelled the word "devices"
At the moment its saying "this repository is for COODE (instead of COOD-E) devices (instead of devices) haha in know its not a problem except for the incorrect spelling but just wanted to let you guys know... ::)

Software / Update V1.2.5 or V1.3.0 ? changelog.?
« on: January 19, 2016, 10:17:11 PM »
Hey Hey,

First of all i wanted to say i'm happy to see that you guys finally rolled out the update to Isengard but.....
It was annouched as V1.3.0 so why is it called V1.2.5?
did you leave out some things and are you still working on some things and there for its called 1.2.5 and when its compleet you will update to V1.3.0.?

second question, can you provide a full changelog of the update instead of just the info "update to Kodi 15.2 Isengard and Fixes" or do you have a link to your Github..? (sinds all is open open source"

Thirt and and last question, did you fixed the problem regarding the use of Yatse in update V1.2.5 because to not be able to use Yatse is really annoying..

Greetz Coert.

p.s. what will be the price of the new qwerty remote?

Download confluance ++ skin and use it.
There you can download play store install it and log in with Google account.
In playstore download and Install ES File explorer and
download and install apex launcher.
Now when you press the home button on the remote you can choose between launcher , choose apex.
In apex launcher you can do anything you used to be with android and also enter the internet browser ..
There you go and search for SPMC 15.0 for android ARM (its a community build of Kodi ( it says 15.0 but its 15.2 )
After downloading SPMC from the website open ES file explorer and look for the download of SPMC install it.
You can run SPMC along side the Cood-e build.
Also in the app list of your apex launcher you see a special settings icon that will open the special cood-e setting so you will will be able to switch between 24hz 50hz and 60hz and controls all the other settings from the coode menu..

Also you will now be able to go in all the android settings in setting menu and if you want you can select apex as a standaart launcher so it will boot in android every time you start your coode box this way you'll have a android TV box instead of only the coode media streamer..

Hope I explained it in a easy way because I'm not so good in English I'm from the Netherlands so English isn't my native language..

Software / No need for Isengard anymore.!
« on: November 29, 2015, 11:53:06 PM »

After more then 6 weeks of waiting and hoping for news from the Cood-e devolopers regarding the update to Kodi Isengard I didnt wanted to wait anymore so I did it myself..!
And WOW I should have done that weeks ago...what a difference !!
My Cood-e box is running so smooth, fast, snappie.... It feels like it is twice as fast comparing with helix 14.2 !
Used it all day and haven't run in to any bugs or problems ;-)
Will test for 2 more days to make sure It didn't fuck up my cood-e and if it still is running like it does now  I will post download links and a how to.. For everyone that's interested...

Off topic / Feedback..??
« on: October 28, 2015, 11:12:28 AM »

What's the use of having a special Cood-e forum when the developers give almost none feedback.?
I posted a few thing in the past week but after 7 day's but still no response from Cood-e ? And the responses I've gotten where from Cood-e ownser and forum members...

Hardware / Only 2 cores available
« on: October 26, 2015, 08:26:37 PM »
Hi Cood-e team

I've got a guestion,
This Cood-e box has a real nice chip set inside but it only uses 2 of the 4 cores that are available...
I paid €100,- for this box and don't get me wrong because that's a really fair price for a box with these specs.
I had only 1 must have when I was searching for a new box, it had to have a quadcore with a min. Of 1.5Ghz processor..
So I was really happy when I found the cood-e but if I buy something with 4 cores I want to use 4 cores not just 2 of the 4 cores.!!!
So my question to you guys is, what can you (we) do to fix this problem?
And I must say I really feel misled by the way you advertise cood-e..

Greets Coert.

P.s.I've got one more thing I wanted to ask you Guy's,
It only runs kodi on android so why do you need 3.8gb of internal space for that ?
Ive also complied a few roms In the past but I never complied one of 3.8gb even Samsung roms Including CRAPWIZ skin/launcher and all crappy no use  preinstalled firmware things arent more then 2.5gb ?
But OK I can live with that because cood-e still plays everything really smooth and beside the fact it runs on half captivity of the quadcore CPU I really like the cood-e box so I really hope youre going to fix this for me... Because you've locked the box you are the only ones who can fix this (or update kodi to 15.2)

Hope to hear from you soon ...

Software / Kodi update ?
« on: October 24, 2015, 10:54:44 PM »

I wanted to know if the Cood-e will be updated to Kodie 15.2 (stable) anytime soon.?
Because its a really nice box but I could be so much more with kodi 15.2 running on it.
Kodi 15.2 runs so much better and smoother than Kodi 14.1 and anytime soon a lot of addons will not support helix anymore I encounters a few all ready...(Wont mention them here because the are third party addons)

Hope you are working on a update to 15.2 and roll it out any time soon...;-)

Introduce / Hi everyone
« on: October 24, 2015, 10:46:48 PM »
Well my name is Coert and I'm from the Netherlands.

3 days ago I wrecked my other box (its in a hard brick now) so I needed a new media player to run Kodi.
I went to the store because I didn't want to buy one online and wait for 2 or 3 days before it would be delivered.
In the store the had several models but I liked the price but most of all I liked the size and the looks of the Cood-e box...
I've played with this box for a day or 2 now and in the beginning I wasn't really impressed by it.
First day it was buffering and really buffering a lot, every movie and serie it was buffering but after some chances in kodi and after I've added some advanced settings I must say that I really like it !!
It really loads every stream In a heartbeat now, no buffering and videos have a really clear image...
So for now I'm really happy with this little fucker...
