Hi,

I had to take a decision because the event is around the corner, so I returned to the shop the COOD-E and purchase a "Western Digital WD TV HD Live Streaming Media Player" that has the looping option near the play, pause, stop buttons.

Hi,

Does anybody know how to loop a video that is on a USB stick connected to the COOD-E?

I am looking in the menus everywhere, but I can not find the way to do it.

How can a simple option be that difficult?

Thank you very much in advance.

But you can accomplish this with so much more devices besides Kodi..?
A small mini laptop, tablet with hmdi out or for example a DVD player with a USB connection..
Only things it has to have is a USB in, hdmi out and a repeat / loop function..
So why should you spent money on a kodi box when you can achieve this with almost no cost...?

Hi Coert,

You are right, but we need something small, that can be hidden begin the screen to avoid people to steal it while nobody is looking. We will use it in an event with many people around.

I just received the COOD-E and test it. The image is great, it play the video, HOWEVER there is no way for me to find the looping option for the video.

Can anybody please help me to know how to do it?

Remember that the video is on a USB stick connected to the COOD-E

Thank you very much in advance.

yes, but you can do that with any kodi player.

Thanks for your reply.

I am completely lost about this matter. After read your reply I have check online about Kodi player and what I found that is a free software. What I need is a device where insert the USB stick. Can you recommend me a company that manufacture a "box" that either use that Kodi software (or another) for the purpose I need?

For this specific case the cheapest the better, because is to use just two days in a screen in a product booth of one event and our budget is very limited.

Thanks again.

Hi,

First at all thanks for this forum, I am new here.

I need a player that connected to a TV through the HDMI cable, that have the ability to play in a loop a video from a USB stick.

Is possible to do that with the COOD-E?

Thank you very much in advance,
